FAME Commercials Limited - Bracknell Forest Borough Council Lifelong Learning Partnership Mobile IT Training Classroom
This Mobile Classroom, fully equipped with PC’s for a tutor and 8 students, will be used to take learning to ‘where people are’ to encourage their participation and progression to other learning programmes. The vehicle uses third generation wireless technology to provide access to the internet and to on-line learning resources and all services run independently of land based connections.
This resource will play a key role in working with adults with basic skills needs with introductory IT skills and with ‘first steps’ courses to upskill people to enhance their employment potential.
Based on a FAME Junior with 6 metre body length
Features include:
- 8 Workstations + 1 Tutor.
- Special Interactive Smart Board with ‘voting’ system.
- Surge Protection Filter for server and PC’s.
- Disabled Access with 2 workstations able to accommodate wheelchairs.
- Computers and printers networked.
