FAME Commercials Limited - A special Exhibition Vehicle
built for London Borough of Bromley

Based on a FAME Minimax with a 6 metre body length, the vehicle has a combination of doors and a shutter to give a welcoming open aspect. There is a small personnel area with seating, handiwash and coolbox and a sliding door for privacy. TV/DVD/Video, PA System with roving microphone, powered awning and heating.

Bromley currently run a full campaign with the vehicle promoting sustainable development, waste minimisation and recycling and other wider environmental concerns. Bromley are trying different ways to promote their work, in particular targeting certain areas of an initial 500 homes with leaflets and confirming when the vehicle will be in their area to enable the public to visit them to discuss these issues and how they can help.

As well as the regular promotions the vehicle is used at fetes, carnivals, county shows and even school playgrounds. Other sections of the Council have also borrowed the vehicle for road safety promotions, especially for Cycling Week, where the vehicle is used as a base reception area and where the roving PA System is useful.
