A special FAME Minimax built as a fully DDA compliant Front Counter Vehicle

This vehicle was commissioned and built for use as a temporary front counter whilst refurbishment of existing police stations is being carried out.

Fully DDA compliant and featuring low level ramps, induction heating loop and a good level of lighting for the visually impaired and sufficient space for wheelchair users to propel their chairs without banging their elbows or knuckles on doorframes and other obstacles.

The police section houses IT equipment, including printer/scanner fax, CCTV., a retractable glazed screen and the whole vehicle is air-conditioned and heated. The doors are automatic with sensitive edge to stop and reverse the motion if there is a danger of a person being trapped.
