By joining together the 3 major emergency services, a ‘one-stop-shop’ has been provided for teachers and community safety practitioners. The resources on board are all linked directly to the national curriculum.
The vehicle will be used for:-
- Promoting safety in the home
- Flu jab & blood pressure clinics
- Healthy eating road shows
- Home fire safety checks
- Self esteem workshops for disadvantaged children and their parents.
Facilities on board include:-
- Toilet
- Kitchen facilities
- Wheelchair access
- Television with interactive touch screen and height adjustable for children
- 6 networked computer workstations
